ive been getting blue screened while playing bf2 on my new system ive got the following Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA1065) now ive never used memtest as ive never had problems like this with previous builds ,ive basically ran memtest and it gets about 10 minutes into a search and i get 10 errors , basically lots of numbers highlighted in red . is this bad and is there any way of fixing this ?

could i test each stick to see if that makes any difference?

make sure your using memtest 86+ for a start as development of memtest 86 stoped before the newer generations came in which can mean it will error without it being faulty, but if your using the right version and still getting errors then id recommend testing each stick at least then ul know which one is buggered

I mate

test one stick at a time
probably one of the stick´s is bad

anyway it´s RMA time( you must send both stick´s to Crucial, as they are a dual channel kit)

looks like i have a bad stick . how do i go about rma'ing
do i ring ocuk or do i ring crucial ?

What would Crucial or any other memory manufacturer use to test the ram?
