MEN Arena tickets from Ebay

And tickets for any other venue where your tickets are scanned on entry:

I had to turn 10 people away from the doors last night as their tickets came up as having been refunded, all of them said rather sheepishly that they'd bought them from ebay. I just sent them to the box office to try and get it sorted, but i very much doubt they'll of got in. Just be careful who you're buying any tickets from, we can see immediately if a ticket has already been used, been refunded or had a duplicate produced

I'm well aware not everyone selling tickets on ebay is even out to make profit, let alone scam people, but just take care, i felt really harsh for not being able to let them in, but especially at a fully seated concert, their tickets will of been resold
 
thanks for the headsup there mate. it hadn't even occurred to me that people would do that, and i've sold tickets on ebay before.

(not for profit, i couldn't afford the show)

thanks for the heads up! i wasnt aware you could get ticket refunds unless the event was cancelled/delayed, is that not true?

Didn't know you could get tickets refunded. Was the show for the Eagles? Sold my tickets on eBay for the Eagles at the MEN a few months ago as I knew I wasn't going to be able to attend :(
 
i had no idea you could get refunds on tickets now, when i went to see tool they had to scan the tickets too, same with tiesto!
 
Hmm didn't know about refunding tickets... How would you find out about this?

I often buy/sell tickets on ebay and haven't had any problems, yet :(
 
i'm not going to be at work for a while, but i'll ask the people i know at ticketmaster next time i see them
i think normal refund policy is that you have to return the tickets, so i cant really explain it, possible that they changed that since bringing in the barcode scanners
