Stuck on behind enemy lines mission, the second part and i have the m 18 smoke marker for the artilliery but how the hell do i use them? i cant throw them or anything lol. Help!

MY standard tactic for when i foolishly start up MoW is to curl up and sob quietly in the corner.

Is the marker not equipable to a unit? Its been a while since I played this game.

Do you guys play it at one of the lower speeds? It makes the tough missions much more doable.

If this is the mission I'm thinking of (with the 4 man Russian team going behind German lines), then you don't actually have to complete it to continue along the mission/storyline. It just makes the next mission easier if you do (and if you're playing on hard, then its worth doing this one). Personally I never completed it but the next battle on hard without this advantage was an absolutely beast.
