Men only clubs

Read in the news about the Garrick gentlemen's club, the row seems to have been rumbling on for a while

Personally I don't see the problem having a gentleman only club, maybe men would like some time to themselves away from the bother of females.

There seems to be plenty of female only clubs, which don't seem to be getting the same attention. Maybe it's just the prestige of the Garrick, but I just don't understand the fuss being made.

Unfortunately I can't afford the likes of Garrick but if I could I think it would be a 2nd home for me so to speak.

I'm a cantankerous grumpy old fart though and I'm probably missing something

It’s where rich and powerful men go to network. By excluding women, you exclude them from that opportunity.

Men still have Warhammer clubs if they fancy some time away from female company.

And the reason for female only clubs?

Which ones? I’m not aware of any private members clubs that are women only.
