Yes, everything.

Weren't these horrific and riddled with electrical issue? The facelift is a completely different car!

However, I don't know you very well but everyone else appears to call BS on anything that you type, so I'm not really willing to spend time posting any more!

A colleague has one (well an E320 CDI), and it smells really, really odd inside. On that basis, I'd look elsewhere TBH.

Nothing at all on a W211 that can or will ever go wrong, buy with confidence. Chuck some kerosene in it and let me know how you get on.

Have we just relocated to the US?

:D

I dont think kerosene is any less available here, i have a 2500L tank of it in my garden for example :p I have been reading a little about running cars on it recently, i'd like dannyw to try it for me

check every button and switch. If you are brave enough get it plugged into a diagnostic before buying one.

I almost had a small tanker full of the stuff parked on top of me earlier...not quite the same but hey...

I have no experience of this particular generation car but is it a case of not meeting previous MB expectations or are they literally that bad? Like a complex large Renault for example which breeds faults?

this looks good, seems too good to be true

that said, the seat belt is hiding the drivers seat bolster and G-Grip tyres?!?
'Seems' like a lot of car for the money but there's clearly a reason for it. Wouldn't a BMW 530D be more appropriate considering general consensus on these Mercs?
