Yeah it does look like quite a steep slope like the Ferrari. Not sure what the ears are about though. Looks like a 2007 era Honda or BMW.
I guess they could be mounts for the cameras as they have to be in a specific area of the nose. Assuming the nose is lower than those points, they would need those supports.
Most likely the camera mounts. Ferrari have something similar.
I've heard and read some suggestion that they are suspension mounting points, but then the suspension would be mounted to the replaceable nose, which is possibly the stupidest idea ever. You can see the line where the nose cone attaches to the tub and it's just not practical.
You can see pretty much the entire nose there too. The first logo on the nose has to be the manufactures logo, so having the Merc logo shows that it's pretty wide to that point. It may still have a dong, but it's looking unlikely.
Stepped noses are ugly, that's a fact. This car will have one, so it's going to be ugly, probably going to look quite similar to the Ferrari at the front and look Mercedes engine incorporated at the back.
I don't fully understand why they have kept the tub so high, then plunged to a low nose? Surely the idea of keeping the tub high would be to then feed as much air under as possible?
Hopefully Scarbs will clear it all up for us. Seems like there are 2 distinct design routes being taken, highest nose possible with a penis extension, or as low and wide as possible.
