I use it from the command line with VS projects but currently using BitBucket and Codeplex as my central repos so not self hosting.
Finally got it working on IIS 7.5. Good god... what a mission that was 
Seems that Python hasn't learnt much from the nightmares of Java's PATH issues, nor from Microsoft's "DLL hell". Shame!
Now to convert our TFS 2008 repo to Hg...
