Merging XBOX accounts

Got my 360 set up the other day but wasn't connected online. Started playing GTA IV then thought i'd get the network side up and running. Got on to XBOX Live and downloaded my very old account with acheivements and all that but there's no option to pass over all the stuff i've done offline in GTA IV so essentially I now have two accounts!

Is there a way to merge all my offline stuff with my old online account?

Already connected on my old account, not going to bother redoing all the missions again - I'll just start fresh on this new one. That's one pain, now I'm trying to use the free months gold that comes with every new 360 but when I sign up it's asking me to put in credit card details. There's not even a piece of paper with a redeem code in the 360 box, aaargh so frustrating how does it all work?!!!

oh right, thanks. I ended up using the free month from GTA IV. Might have lost the free month from the 360 now but I'll guess I'll find out at the end of this free month.

I've not had a good experience with the 360 so far, this is one of the newer units with HDMI and supposidly all the problems sorted out. So far, the wireless network adapter won't work with it and it's also frozen, only had it since yesterday as well!
