Merlin Ti bicycle questions

Hi Mate

How is your Merlin Ti? I was going to buy one a few months ago but due to work I haven't got around to it. Have you got any ideas on the weight of the bike? What spec did you go with after? You don't happen to live in South Wales I wouldn't mind trying one.

Weight - dunno, will weigh it tomorrrow for ya, but is incredibly light.

The beauty of the Ti frame is that it is as strong as the alluminium frames, but retains the flex and comfort of the steel frames.

Spec as follows

Rock Lobster TEAM TITANIUM 06
XT group & Hope mono M4 with Hope XC hubs
Marzocchi MX PRO ETA TAS
Black XC717 disc rims/black spokes
EA50 riser bars, stem & seatpost £0


Was a little bit unsure of spending so much more than the Malt 4 i looked at, but after receiving it and having a quick blast, those fears just vanished.
