Insurance paid off at last....

They forgot the Hard drive.. Ill call them later.. Other than whats on the pic I have a vast selection of DVDs too.:)
 
When they say the insurance paid up - do they give you cash or do they order all the Xbox stuff and it's pot luck what you get?
 
Yeah those packs are a bloody nightmare! Get a sharp pair of scissors, or an axe :p

I'm glad you finally got everything sorted :) Got the fingerprint powder off of the old HD-DVD unit yet?

They replaced like for like.. ish.. plus the few 'other' things that went missing. We sent them a list of stolen things.

Not yet but i will look into it later this week.. If it works ok then ill contatc MS and get thme to send me the power cable and usb lead.. they didnt get recovered by the police. or Gamestation messed that one up too.
 
Yep sure do.. I have now got 2 xboxes and two HD dvd players:)

I wont be able to play on it though as im off to Hereford today, well in 2 hours so I better get packing and have a shower.. Im sure RoB will pop down one vening this week to have a nosey anyway..
 
According to the new xbox box the one I have now wont play original Xbox games! Where as the 3 other version will.. Can some one confirm this for me.. Not that im desperate to play original games..
 
It's because of the lack of hard drive with the Arcade afaik.
Stick a hard drive on and all should be fine :)
 
I don't think a new hard drive will help. 360's that come with a hard drive have the ability to play original games already stored on the HDD (hence there not being a full 20GB of space). A new HDD probably won't have those files on? Unless xbox live downloads them for you.

won't the HDD he buys have them on though? Pre-formated?

the hardrive only stores the xbox emulator and doesnt have any xbox games on it

a seperate hard drive is exactly the same as the ones on that come with the packs (premium, pro, elite etc) will be pre-formatted with the xbox emulator included

so for the 20gig drive you would still only get 13gig

Glad you got all this sorted with the insurers though :)
