Ageia cuts price of PhysX cards to $99 this Christmas
Ageia is not giving up on its dedicated physics processing card, the PhysX and since it didn't turned out very popular even with the propaganda games already released it is trying something else, a price cut. For this holiday season, together with a secsi new graphics card you'll will be able to get a PCI PhysX card for just $99. The offer, which will run throughout the holiday shopping season will see major online shops like Newegg and TigerDirect sell the card at $99, significantly lower than the $150+ price tag of today.
Thinking the price cut might still not be enough Ageia has went back to software and will soon release a mod-kit plus two new levels for the best-known PhysX-supporting game out there - Unreal Tournament 3. Will it be enough?

Now if only they paid customers $99 to take one, then they would shift them.
