Merry Xmas to Me

3rd isn't quite as good sadly, however the developers have admitted they feel they rushed it due to setting a release date so early. They've also said that won't happen again with Uncharted 4.

Still a brilliant game though, better than Uncharted 1

I picked my next game..... Bioshock.

The first thing I noticed coming from uncharted was the fairly poor frame rate, it really did look very stuttery initially but I think I've got used to it.

I'm finding the controls really hard to get used to but I'm getting there. Otherwise, I'm impressed. The enemies are very creepy indeed since they talk and are obviously humans gone mad. The world itself appears lush and impressive, I have a lot of expectations from this game, it's so atmospheric! :)

Is it going to live up to it?

In a word, no.

Bioshock was a big disappointment for me, as you said it sets the scene so very well and, while it has a fantastic twist or two, it just becomes too repetitive. It was very much a one trick pony imo. It's still a good game though, just nowhere near as good as it could have been. Here's hoping for Bioshock Infinite.

Bioshock 2 was a dire game imo, avoid.

That's a shame. I'm currently in the dental / medicine bit... very eerie!

A lot of that can comes down to what type of person you are in terms of your expectations, I myself rarely really enjoy a game if my expectations are built up.

It is a fantastic game though :p, also don't forget that you can disable the v-sync in this game, which is pretty awesome for a console game, hit start while in game and change the 'Unlock Framerate' option to 'On', it makes the framerate a lot smoother but you'll see screen cutting as a result, it depends which you prefer, you can also change the fov so that you can see more on screen.
