Mesh front vs tempered glass

Hi,

My new build has arrived today, though i'm a little concerned about airflow with the case i've chosen.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £55.49 (includes shipping: £10.50)

I'm considering sending it back and going for a mesh front case, though its a massive pain as i want to get it built at the weekend.

I will be running a ryzen 5 3600 and sapphire pulse 5700 xt with stock cooling for now. Should i swap for a different case or will it not make that much difference?

I don't think you'll see a big difference tbh, there is a gap on the front panel and the sides for air to pass through to the intake fans, some people have the NZXT cases with solid fronts and still get good temps

I've been reading quite a few case reviews recently and was interested by the comparative temp charts I found here: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3335-be-quiet-dark-base-pro-900-rev2-benchmarks-review

There are a mix of solid front and mesh front cases on that list and whilst the mesh ones probably tend towards the cooler end of the spectrum, there isn't always that much difference compared to the better solid front cases. Even things like that Define R6, Dark Base 900 rev.2 etc are in the middle of the pack despite being solid front and noise dampened. The other point is that there are some cases that perform really badly but that's because of poor design overall rather than being specifically related to the mesh vs solid front.

Depends whether you are happy with a glass panel or not... I'd be too worried about breaking it, though I'm guessing you're fine with it, since you ordered this case in the first place?
I don't think mesh would make much difference, aesthetically, given that sn0w-fl@ke patterned grille already there.
