Hi

I am trying to use my quest for wireless VR but my network is not good enough. My boosters seem to make it worse not better.

So I am considering getting a set of mesh network points.
Is there much difference in them as the price varies wildly

For instance Tenda Nova MW3 3 pack is £70
But
TP-Link M4 3 pack is £100 ish

Does anyone know if either / both of these will be better than standard WiFi with boosters?

Thanks

Hi, new here, been using these forums to gen-up on building a modest gaming pc. Little did I know how scarce the gpus are, so it’ll have to wait. I can contribute to this thread though, so I finally signed up.

I bought the TP link m4 mesh to improve WiFi in my house over the virgin media super hub. The M4 set is really good. Rock solid signal all over the house, full internet speed in all rooms, easy to set up. Great for streaming etc, kids on YouTube, wife on teams calls etc.

but for gaming (in my case Warzone via PS4) not good at all. If you’re connected to the main unit it’s fine, but if you’re on one of the satellites the latency spoils the gaming experience, ping >250ms. And You cannot force your device to connect to a particular unit.

tp link do another model that claims very low latency but I think when I was looking the other day the price was north of 400 quid.
