Mesh setup help

Hi All, I need some advice on my mesh set up.

I currently have a RT-AC86U with two Zen Mesh nodes. The issue i am experiencing is that the uplink after a few days goes to weak on the 2.4ghz band normally it displays as great on the 5ghz, or the actual router wifi drops out and reboot will fix it for while. I have messed about with the different channels for the wifi and eventually its the same outcome. I am using the Merlin latest firmware on the router, not sure if i replace the router it would fix it? i bought the router in 2018 so not that old.

Any tips would be great

Did you manage to sort this?

Is the main one plugged directly into the router via ethernet?

Always worth turning off the wifi built into the router as well to stop interference
