Mesh wifi and virgin internet - config question

Sorry if this has already been asked but I wasn't able to find an answer to readily.

I have a Virgin media modem router which supplies the house. I have problems with range on the wifi which is basically being a bit of a pain and having tried cheaper extenders which my understanding means you have effectively two networks when in use and strange drop off points when you're between them, it's been pretty unworkable.

I have been reading up about Mesh systems and looking at the Tenda WM6 Nova 3 pack and wondering if
a) it's compatible with my Virgin box
b) would I need to disable the VM box wifi for optimum performance or does it just extend what is already there ( I know the Tenda nova hub is ethernet connected )

Has anyone tried this config?

Thanks in advance
Tony

Ive got the tplink deco mesh units with my superhub 2ac.

I turn vm box to modem mode and let tplink do the rest. Works great.

looking at similar but have some ethernet cables to superhub

what would be way to go? use router on SH and just use these as APs?
