Message to Users using WIN2K3 Server

Is it possible to have a message appear on my clients PCs at the same time to remind them to swap over their backup media?

I was thinking of running an ECHO batch file on each PC but if I can do something centrally from the server that would be better.

You could use "net send" but you would need to make sure the messenger service is running on all PCs

Or if you're running exchange and Outlook maybe a recurring Calendar entry?
