I've made a real 'pig's ear' of installing Vista Ultimate 64, and partitioning on my 1TB HDD.
I would like to 'start again'.
What would be the best way to clean up the HDD and install Vista from scratch?

You can repartition the hard drive in Vista setup. Just delete all the partitions that you know you have no data that you want backed up. If its the whole drive, then delete the partitions, then make new ones
