messed up rom flash

i installed lineageos and then tried to install Gapps but somehow deleted the entire install. ``i can get to fastboot screen and to the TWRP screen.

but when i try doing adb push rom.zip /sdcard/ I get
adb: error: connect failed: no devices/emulators found

if i do fatboot devices
it shows it.


any help much appreciated.
if i had a micro sd card adapter, I could throw it in the laptop and transfer the file that way but I dont. edit - oh wait cant even do that, it doesn't have an sdcard

edit - nvm back in there was a sideload within twrp and that made adb work.
now to try gapps again.

Might be worth doing a backup within TWRP whilst you have a working install. Saved my life so many times just being able to restore from that.

Obviously if you're a complete idiot and wipe that too then it wont help

Edit: Or as below, Just keep the rom.zip and flash that.

As long as you have TWRP it doesn't matter if the ROM restore screws up. Just reinstall the ROM.

What about using a USB OTG cable with USB stick with the image on the USB stick?

I have a Moto G that doesn't have SD card but you can install from USB.
