Hey ive finally started to get on with my mac book pro after formatting it

just started installing all things i need but the messenger mac wont sign in, i defiantly typing in the right password as ive just checked on my pc and also changed password on msn site to see if that can sort it but still wont sign in, it use to work before i formatted it (its saying i have wrong password or username when i havent )

ive read a few forums with other people having the same problem and some say to check the os's firewall, so main question is, is how do i do that ? im still pretty clueless on how mac OS X works

or if theres any other solutions, please do tell me :)

It's really crap, mine works when it feels like it, and i've not managed to figure out why. It's not updated, no bugs are fixed - and my god they're crawling out of it from everywhere.

Go with Adium, much better.
 
can you talk to msn contacts on that?

also how do you copy and paste lol? when i use my wireless mouse on the mac i can just right click like you do on windows but how do i do it on the mac touchpad and clicky thing?

+1 for going with Adium. You can chat to your MSN contacts plus a whole host of other networks.

As for copy/paste. Command (Apple key) + C for copy and Command + V for paste. And to right click hold Ctrl then click or you can change the options for your trackpad to use two fingers on the trackpad and click.
 
cheers guys, shame the support is rubbish for messenger mac. its very good on pc but suppose thats because its developed by microsoft i guess

can you get add-ons for adium so you can usecam and that? cheers
