Messi and Pique

Stuff like moving cars around, cutting socks off etc happen in every dressing room probably.

A few months ago someone left a bag of fish in the back of Balotelli's Maserati when we went on pre season tour to USA.

Not sure if whoever did paid for a new one :D

Nice of them to buy him a new one i suppose. Bit harsh to burn it though. Should have just swapped them incase he wanted it back lol

I can only imagine how the press would report it if Balotelli had done that. Probably something along the lines of,

"Balotelli tries to kill club staff member in arson attack!"

To be honest, the only sort of stuff that the papers go ape over in the UK is stuff like summer students getting shot, apprentices getting cigars stubbed out on their eye ball etc.

This stuff in OP, as mentioned elsewhere, happens all the time here, just it's generally non news in most cases.

Fairly sure I remember a big hoo-har in the media here a few years back about the likes of Kieran Richardson putting graffitti on Park's Daewoo car at the MU training ground?
I think it was along the lines of, everyone at MU drives Bentleys, Ferraris etc so they used to take the **** out of his car all the time, then decided to trash it one day.
Doubtless he drove it as part of some sponsorship agreement out in Korea but Richardson was probably too retarded to figure that out.

It probably would be seen differently in the uk, but thats our press, and it depends how their press is treating it as seen over there not press coverage on it from here.

But realistically you can see this story as, Messi and Pique buy a not particularly well paid( I assume being an old banger of a moped) member of staff a new moped, but first mess around with his old moped as a bit of a prank. That is just a nice thing to do in a funny way, if they burned it up felt guilty then bought a replacement, its a ***** thing to do, who knows which it is really.

AFAIK quite a few pranks are done and get commented on as not a very big deal in the uk, fish in a car is reported but not mentioned as bad. Shooting a youth player, or throwing darts at them, hitting someone with a golf club tend to go down less well in the press, quite rightly.

Pretty much that. If you take that article as saying they burnt the guys moped and then bought him a brand new one it's a nice thing to do. Throwing darts at people, shooting them with air rifles and hitting people with golf clubs aren't exactly pranks.

I think its just a case of its a bit of a non issue. About 2 years ago Tevez went and bought every member of staff at city a brand new TV and just went round asking people what size they wanted as a bit of a thank you at Xmas

Don't remember seeing anything in the paper about that though.
