Messy work units...

When I look at my results it often looks a bit of a mess... there's a few that crashed (computation error) but I'm not sure why, and a few more that crashed because I forgot to snooze them when I started GTA4 once... and some that say "validation inconclusive" etc... Is this normal?

Maybe my hardware is not well suited to Distrubuted computing, since I am generally using all my machines and not leaving them alone to work... I don't really have much "spare" resources, since I tend to know what I need and havent bought more than I needed.

I'll keep leaving them to crunch when I'm browsing the web, and try to remember to pause them whenever I want to game etc... but I hope I don't get told off for having a fair few units that crashed etc?

Oh, and also: since I know why some of them went to "computational error" (because I started a game)... is there any way I can tell BOINC to have another go at them? Due to the outages and the unexpected errors I'm sometimes short of WU's and it seems a shame not to complete them.

Hi Stickman - you only get one try to complete a WU.
Remember the snooze only works for 1 hour! Either suspend the project(s) or shut down BOINC while gaming. You can alway increse yr cache in preferences.
Validation inconclusive means just that the usual 2 don't have similar results, so you have to wait for a third PC to complete WU before you get credit.
