On the Quest Native/Rift PC platform some games are cross-buy, that is if you buy them on Quest or Rift you get the other version for free.
You don't get these automatically. When you purchase a game on Quest or Rift then you have to navigate to that game's store page on the other store (you can easily do this in the Meta Quest Phone app) and 'Get' your free copy.
The advantage is the PC versions are often higher fidelity and may have extra options or even extra features.
For Quest Pro owners there is another advantage in that all the PC apps will now support Local Dimming, even if the native version doesn't.
For instance, I was looking at getting Ancient Dungeon on Steam as I love the Quest version but I wanted local dimming, but I discovered the title was actually cross-buy, so that saved me the £15 or so.
Also sometimes it's cheaper to buy the Quest version and get the PC version for free than it is to buy the PC version!
