there always a way to make people redundant if you want to. and with the introduction of Ai more cost "saving" higher "productivity" less overhead i expect.
less HR recourses, less sick, less holiday. more working hours i.e. 24x7 (168hrs) vs 60hr weeks. no human rights, no unions, ect ect
you'll have AI engineers to diagnose and fix other AIs.
althought companies are also shooting themselfs in the foot, as people need money(or trade items/goods/services) to buy products/services
some times cutting staff is a threat to keep people inline, and other times a wayof getting fresh talent in.
we'll see how this pans out first hand across the industry ocer the next 10 years.
