Hey guys,

I got delivered last week a MQ3 after hassling from a mate on this forum!

The problem I’m having is no matter where I scroll on the focus wheel, I can’t get good focus?

Any suggestions to try to sort this?

Note : I do wear glasses for long distance, short to medium I’m fine.

Have you tried it with glasses? (being VERY careful not to scratch the headset or glasses lenses). Focal distance is 1.5-2m so you need distance vision lenses.

If it works with glasses then prescription lenses are a must.

i have to wear glass for long distance and its very blurey with out. so seems more like an eye issue.
how ever to rule out bad lenses ask some one with good eye sight to check for you as well.

we'd be happy to talk you though the process 8m tonight in walkabout mini golf and give you free tips and motivationals speaches on your putting, the good company you need to pay for, but JoeBoi wispered good things so you get mates rates.

no joy with the blurriness. its up on MM if anyone is interested! :(
did you by chance ask any one else to check just in case its a fault with the quest 3? iver heard some bad things about the more recent ones having some issues (not a huge about just random posts)
its really important to get he right IPD i find as well. Eye Distance from Centre to Centre.
its possible its just not for you which is a shame :/

unfortunately i have no one to test that lives near me.. I dont have the worlds best eye sight, so im leaning towards not being 100% suited for myself. Which is annoying, as i liked the VR concept..

That's really odd. Are they perhaps fogging up? Mine do that if I'm hot and I first put them on, it can make things look a bit blurry. There's also an adjustment thing inside the facial interface to the side where you can adjust the distance of the lenses to your eyes.

If you just hold the headset near your eyes but don't strap it to your head, move your eyes up and down and back and forth, does it ever look in focus?

It must be defective otherwise.
