stumbled accross this on another forum

looks interesting, does a few different cpu tests. 54 to be exact

at 3Ghz?

thats a bit low and opposite of what i get.

i get 7000 with all 4 cores and slightly lower with 1 core affinity @ 3.33Ghz

but as you can see from above someone has already broken 7k with just a conroe at 3.7, the program is poorly optimized, it never ever goes above 30% load on my system.

yes im not disputing that, from my results, (what i mentioned) it is using just one core. I just thought your scores being lower with all 4 cores was odd, unless your doing something wrong.

Agreed, its a poor test. Though I get a warm glow inside knowing that 'just a conroe' (mine) scored more than kentsfield at a fraction of the cost. Shame its not like that in all benchies tho...wanna swap

well im sure he said he got his as a freebie, so yours cost much more

hmm what are your ram timings there? mine only gets just over 8k with a much higher clockspeed. somethings not right

what speed are you running yours at?

Jems had his in single channel mode and got 7800 @ just under 4Ghz
