Metal CPU backing plates ?

Anybody know if you can buy Metal CPU backing plates for Motherboards in the UK. ?

I need one for my Asrock LGA775 , I found them for sale in the U.S.A
for about $3 but i didn't want to have to go to the hassle of having
it shipped over.

Whats it for? Most heatsinks come with one.

I have a scythe ninja sitting useless on my desk because i lost the mounting bracket for it, hope you don't end up in a similar situation.

You could buy a cheap heatsink that comes with one if need be.

How did you manage to lose the bracket? Seems a shame to have such a good cooler just sitting around doing nothing. Plug it in to a 12V battery and use it to cool down freshly baked pies. mmm pie...

Lost it by rma-ing a board with the bracket still attached.

Bought a new ninja and left the old one on my desk. Was planning on selling it as i still have the bracket for lga775. I may keep it for a future conroe upgrade, not sure.

The Asrock and my Waterblock never came with a backing plate
and i don't want to warp the board when clamping down the block.

I need something sturdy like this.

As i said, see if you can find a cheap cooler that comes with one, perhaps on the bay.
