I wonder what else they could add to MGS4?

GiantBomb.com said:Siliconera (via Kotaku) has just uncovered a recent registration in the Japanese trademark office for a "Metal Gear Solid Existence" as registered by one "Konami." Hmm. No other details provided besides that oh-so-revealing image to the right there. Siliconera speculates this game (if it even is a game) will somehow go back to the "origins" of the MGS franchise and maybe once again feature everybody's favorite Most Famous Soldier, Big Boss. But haven't we pretty much covered the Metal Gear timeline from start to finish by now? My instinct is not to get so excited.

* Metal Gear Solid 4: Existence - A re-release of MGS4 with added content, much in the vein of Substance and Subsistence.
* Portable Ops 2 - The long-rumored real sequel to the PSP-exclusive Portable Ops series.
* Metal Gear Solid EXistence - An Xbox 360-exclusive Metal Gear Solid game.
* OR ... A damn cell phone game that won't ever come out in America.
With TGS around the corner, there's a chance we may find out what this mysterious title is sooner than later. Stay tuned.
omgmetalgear.com said:Not too long ago, when Ryan Patton announced that he was leaving Kojima Productions, he accidentally let it slip that the developer was working on Metal Gear Solid 5. Now, with Konami registering a new title with the Japanese trademark database, the rumors are flying. But is this really the sequel title or something else?
While we have a good idea that Metal Gear Solid 5 is coming, I think that it's more likely that Existence is going to turn out to be Metal Gear Solid 4: Existence. Like Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, I think Existence will be a Director's Cut of sorts.
I just can't wait for Metal Gear Solid 5: Abstinence.
