Metal Gear Solid 4 help please

Hi all,

I accidentally deleted my savefile for Metal Gear Solid 4

but really don't want to restart it. I am at the beginning of Act 4 on normal. Is there any way to download a file at that point?...or would someone be kind enough to upload one if they have one?

Basically, what is my best move?

Are you subscribed to Playstation Plus by any chance? If so I'd just download the last backed up copy of your save to your HDD.

Look on GameFAQs maybe? I know they used to link to save files, no idea if they still do.

I do have PSplus, but there is no save for MGS. I don't think I turned the option on for that game

They do from what I can tell, but they are all for completed games with all things unlocked etc. I was hoping I could just get a bog-standard normal save....I'm not sure if you can resume from any point with one of those files?

I'm stuck here tbh...all of the savegames I can find are for games that have everything unlocked, unlimited ammo etc. Whereas I just want a basic game where I can play from Act 4. IT is annoying, as I still have 3 days off of my holiday from work, and was hoping to maybe get it finished before I go back

If I can't find one, I am tempted to play through every MGS game again tbh!...I have a game of MGS2 just before Fatman I could continue with

EDIT- I think I will wait, and hope someone might come along with a save I can use, and play something else as I wait
