The PS Store page lists the entire thing:
Metal Gear
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Metal Gear Solid (Including VR Missions/Special Missions)
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection version)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection version)

This collection includes the classic versions of the games, complete with minimal edits to copyrighted contents.

Nintendo just announced Master Collection is coming to the switch 24.10.2023, so I think we have our release date.

Also noticed at the MGS Master collection webpage where they have to mention trademarks and logos:
Nintendo Switch™, The Nintendo Switch logo, Nintendo Entertainment System and NES are trademark or registered trademarks of Nintendo.
"", "PlayStation" and "" are registered trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
Xbox, Xbox Series X|S, and the Xbox logos are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies and are used under license from Microsoft.
©2023 Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation in the U.S. and/or other countries.
So we may have our answer to what platforms the Master Collections will be on, *fingers crossed* for a Steam release.

Platforms have now been confirmed for the MGS Master Collection V1

I know this is the console part of the forum, but this is mega that these games are finally coming to Steam.

I love MGS and am currently replaying 1-4 on the PS3 (and maybe GZ), but £50 for a simple re-release of the original MGS and the HD Collection versions of 2 and 3 is steep, even at current prices. I can understand why they haven't remastered them again as they clearly have remake plans for the series, but so far I'm struggling to see what justifies the price. Konami really need to be doing a lot more to earn back the goodwill of MGS fans after years of utter neglect.

Watching the latest Digital Foundry video it doesn't look good. Especially on a Switch. Can we really be surprised considering its Konami?

There's images going around that Gamestop accidently tweeted out a release date of 17th November, seems unlikely, don't think I've ever seen a major title release on a Sunday. Meanwhile GAME has it down for TBC-2025

The original is an all time great to any one that played it when it was out. I didnt have much love for the 3rd one though. Always hoping for a decent remake of the original.

Couldn’t agree more, and I did spend quite a few hours playing it too. Remember the long call out of “snake” when you died

I am not a fan of stealth games at all, or just any I played after MGS didnt live up to it at all, imo.

There were so many good quotes and things like that! The music and atmosphere was awesome too.

Im presuming Kojima is not involved with any of this work from Konami. That worries me...

His attention to detail and perfectionism made the games great. Konami's last solo attempt was Metal Gear Survival one of the worst games in recent history.
