*** Metal Gear Solid Rising - Xbox 360/PS3/PC ***

Hideo Kojima has just popped up at Microsoft's keynote, and announced that the Metal Gear Solid franchise is coming to Xbox 360 with an all-new title. This game is called "Metal Gear Rising", is a completely-new title, and rather than starring Solid Snake, will star Raiden.
Now, importantly, he didn't mention the word "exclusive". He just said it was "in development" for the 360.
Still, big stuff, no?

im disappointed to see the mgs franchise get the same release time as the 360 but i understand why.

i hope it comes to ps3 aswell, as id rather play an mgs game on my ps3, but if it doesnt, ofcourse ill get it for my 360

Why would it be exclusive on the 360 when the user base is already set on the PS3?

It did say near the start of the e3 show that everything here on in is xbox 360 exclusive (with l4d saying exclusive to pc and 360). I however doubt it's exclusive and if it is it'll be timed exclusive.

Rising - sounds like it'll be the story of Raiden between MGS2 and MGS4. Sounds good.

The game was previewed in PS3 +PSP Famitsu, pretty sure its a multiplatform. If it was an xclusive MS would be shouting it at every oppurtinity that its "only on Xbox". Cant wait till see the new PSP MGS game with the Big Boss.

Be strange if there is other spinoff games like this, big boss game for PS3 new MGPO for PSP have to get them all for new story lol.
