Metal strap for vertical sleepers

I have cut, treated and set 47 pieces (each 85cm long) of railway sleeper in a vertical orientation with concrete.

I want to 'tie' them together with a metal strap along the back.

Anyone done this? Where did you source the strap?

Roof straps from wickes. Haven't done it myself but it might work.

Likewise, I've not done it either, but roofing straps was my first thought too.

In the past I've drilled through them and run a length of M8 threaded rod, bolted at each end, with the nuts plugged over with wood. Works well.

Too many. The longest run is 8m! Bought 1m lengths x 10 from Screwfix.

You'd just need to drill a bigger hole at each end for this connector to countersink into.
