Quest3 does me nicely. Can't see me upgrading any time soon. Will be getting some prescription lenses, but other than that I have all the accessories I need I think.

But, I am considering something like the Xreal One Pro's or similar.

Quest 3 was released in June 2023.

Was that 1st Jan 2024 - 31st Dec, or FY23/24?

Either way it's not surprising news, they released a new product for the first time since 2020 that was markedly better than it's predecessor.

Feels like a bit of a "you don't say" kinda story.

i went in to it thinking more about Metas cut form any and all sales. tbh
but with how popular a xmas present the 3s wuld have been its not surprising at all.

I've always been a glass half full type of person and I see this as good news for VR and MR in general.
