Thats the space i have.

Any ideas?

Remove the graphics card and attach the fan by cable ties to the heatsink in each
corner, re-insert your GPU all done :D

Rob :)

I thought the idea of this cooler was passive cooling, how hot does your northbridge get that you need to put another fan inside your case?

That said it does look a bit limited for space in there so case flow cooling might not be enuff?

Thanks for the replies.

First of this cooler was bought to replace my stock cooler.

I have all 4 memory slots full and a 50% cpu overclock going, so my northbridge gets CRAZY hot, you cant even touch it.

The Noctua arrived today and i slapped it on with some MX-2 paste and obviously its still stupidly hot.

If i dont cool it with a fan, my system crashes. It just freezes and you have to force restart it.

Now before i added the noctua, i had a desktop fan blasting air in and with the stock cooler it was stable. Just added the noctua and its now unstable even with the desktop fan. So my guess is i haven't sat it right?

As for the cable ties would they not melt? Sounds stupid :(

The airflow is very good, normally.

They will be fine (you can get metal ones) belongs it does not get stupidly
hot like 100c + cables ties will be fine.
