I got two questions....
I'm using a thermaltake big water SE kit on a P3 1ghz test rig...
I have removed the fan off the rad as it doesn't get that warm...

Question 1)
Anyone know the inside and out side diameter of the pipes coz I want to put the rad outside for winter....

Question 2)
how much diference would it make if I use meths for the cooling liquid....
I'm thinking of having it 'boil' in the water block and then condence in the rad... (starts whistling) has anyone tried it?

its a thermaltake bigwater, not even jesus could make that thing cool a cpu, never mind meths

it's bigwater SE.... and it's quite happy on my test server.....

ok, anyone know of a liquid that has a boiling point of around 30 deg C ?

oky, in that case I'll just buy a 100 bar presure washer from argoose and use that for a pump....

vent the water vapour into a large 80mm tube.... down to bucket where it should have condensed.... any that doesn't, gets vented to atmosphere...

Then back around into compressor....

hmmm, might try it with air first.... 100 bar air compressor is only £60 ish from argoose....

I enjoy challenging 'normal' conventions....
Thinks back to my athlon 700 over clocked to 1GHz with duct tape on the heatsink....

ahhhhhhhh:;)
