Metro 2033 Benchmarking tool

Hiya, has anyone else tried this program? It's pretty sweet.

I tried the following settings

Resolution: 1842 x 1026; DirectX: DirectX 11; Quality: Very High; Antialiasing: MSAA 4X; Texture filtering: AF 4X; Advanced PhysX: Enabled; Tesselation: Enabled; DOF: Disabled

•Total Frames: 2217, Total Time: 59.85559 sec
•Average Framerate: 37.14
•Max. Framerate: 134.61 (Frame: 2016)
•Min. Framerate: 11.50 (Frame: 1135)

Ran a lot smoother than I thought it would!

Yeah I know that resolution is abit "odd" but it's what this HDTV uses, any higher than that and it goes outside the monitor

I think even the top end cards will struggle with certain frames in this game!

As far as I know it's for the full game.. a DLC was released for the game including a new Hardcore mode, new achievements and new guns, and the new benchmarking tool.

Recently reinstalled Metro and found the benchmarking tool. Was quite surprised to find a pretty decent framerate running at 2560 x 1440.

Options: Resolution: 2560 x 1440; DirectX: DirectX 11; Quality: High; Antialiasing: AAA; Texture filtering: AF 4X; Advanced PhysX: Enabled; Tesselation: Enabled; DOF: Disabled

Average Framerate: 42.33
Max. Framerate: 73.08
Min. Framerate: 8.82

Dunno wether it's anything to do with the latest NVidia drivers but I'm seeing a massive improvement with my GTX570 at 1920 x 1200 as well

yeah thats right as my test went to 11fps on the 6th frame of the test at the start.. was fine after that.

What drivers you using?

Latest Beta 275.27. from 18th May

Dunno wether it's because I did a clean install this time instead of the usual overwrite but my machine is currently flying!

Gained an extra 4fps in Heaven as well
