hi guys im so bored has any 1 played this and is it worth a play also any other games fps games mainly worth playing.

Hell yeah, good little game, pretty demanding though.

It is demanding if you turn everything up but its not needed. I noticed very little difference between the High and Very High setting and with DoF and Tesselation turned off it runs great on my lowly 6870 at 1080p.

Good game but a bit short and the ending was meh.

Yeap DoF is a framerate killer on this game for sure.

Saying that, yes its demanding but i honestly can say i ran that smoother than Crysis 1.

Wether that is due to the developers utilising things better ....most likley (cant think of the word for it :) )

On saying that i have played about half of it....enjoying it mostly but i find the characters i met so far to be a bit bland. Half life 2 is how it should be done ;)

Loved Metro.... a great atosphere and setting. Graphics look amazing as well..... they do warm up my crossfire GPU's like no other game. I always end up putting my fans on max RPM.

The only setting i had to turn down was MSAA iirc, that drops FPS a lot, but it's a very good game.

Excellent game. A lot of people compare it to Stalker, but tbh it's completely different. Metro 2033 is linear, but you never get a sense of being forced along and getting railroaded. There are a lot of neat touches in this game that I adore ("SEEEIINNNGING PIPES" :p ), and it looks fantastic, even when not on a system with all the latest hardware.

And the atmosphere.... The first 10 minutes does so much to lull you into this world, it really is stunning.

Metro is the kinda game you play when no one else is in the house and you can turn off the lights and get the headphones turned up. The atmosphere is superb along with the great visual experience. i enjoyed the story also , its not super amazing just solid enough.

Very atmospheric. Especially the outdoor sections while wearing the gasmask. It's such a little thing, the gasmask but makes all the difference as far as immersion goes.
