Metro comes to VR !

There's a VR game that feels very similar in atmosphere to the Metro games which was produced by the same developer, 4A Games

It's called Arktika.1 and was a cover shooter with teleport mechanics and launched originally for the Oculus Rift PC headset. You can still play it on the Oculus PC store.

Are there actually any decent headsets? I only tried a few, one of which I think was the Facebook one and it was like playing PS3 games.
It's one of these things I'm happy to delay until something high end is out because I know I won't be happy otherwise. Must be OLED as well (if that exists).

Edit: NVM, according to the 'best of' lists that would be a resounding no.

Quest 3 is as good as it gets at a highish price at the moment think of it more as a game console on your head though.

Its a brilliant device and while your not getting your crisp graphics you want, the games and experience are absolutely fantastic. I really think people are missing out now the quest 3 is here. Give it another 10 years and it could well be where we are now in terms of graphics. (and lots of crap games that dont work due to production values over gaming quality)

Yup, the Quest 3 is the first headset now that I feel I can recommend to all my gaming friends (instead of just the hardcore ones) , imo its the first headset which is really showing how VR can become mainstream. Asgards Wrath 2 on the Quest 3 is superb and at around 90hours in game length its getting to being the length of some PC games.

Have wishlisted it on Steam, Vertigo games are making this and afaik they've created some good stuff before and with it being based on the Metro series it'll be good hopefully
