Metro Exodus crashing only when detected by enemies in Taiga level.

Hi. I have a question about Metro Exodus, Taiga level.

I am getting constant freezing only when i am detected by enemies in Taiga level. . All i can do is ctrl alt delete and kill process. When i am not detected its fine and no hang. But when i am detected by enemies it will hang.
The same thing was happened in my previous pc so doubt its hardware.
Event log not show display driver crash or any app crash. Just game is hang.
Nothing is overclocked, only XMP profile.I tried with disabled Afterburner but the same.

I have Gigabyte Rtx 3090 Gaming stock OC, 10850K 4800mhz,32 GB DDR4 GSKILL XMP.

In other games or benchmarks never had any single crash. What i must to do?
I tried other drivers,disabling GF experience,disabling MSI AFterburner, lowering details nothing helped.
literally i cant past that place because its hanging only there lol

You could try verifying your installation if you are using Steam. Right click the title within your library then select properties and then local files. You should see verify integrity of games files.

If it's only happening in Metro, you may be better off with a Metro-specific forum or the game's reddit.

One thing to consider is that there will be a new build of the game released in four days time - the exclusive RTX version. Since you have a 3090, it's particularly aimed at your hardware and in the process of the engine update, may clear up and bugs or quirks that have persisted.

So if all else fails, just download the new version this Friday - it's free for any present owner of the game, though will come as its own client of 80gb or so.

It'll also look superior to the version you are playing now.

Also make sure you download the Nvidia optimised driver for Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, which was released yesterday. The brand new driver will surely have been extensively tested in the new edition, including the Taiga level.

Hurra. I downloaded newest drivers 466.27 for upcoming Metro Exodus Enhacement and no hangs during fight !

ok happened again with new drivers.Always when i am fightning on taiga.Any ideas why that happens?I see few youtube gameplays and not freezing issue during fight in taiga on rtx cards.

You could try with your RAM at stock speeds, GPU undervolt, disabled audio.

What PSU are you using, how old is it?

Thanks for suggestion but i doubt its ram. First the same thing was happening on my previous build with 2080 ti ( completely different parts ) . Also in other games i dont have any issues.
And thats happening only when enemies are alerted. When i am not fightining its fine.

That's why I suggested even trying with audio disabled, just incase some audio file is corrupted.

ok i will try. Only taiga is affected. In other chapters no issues with fightning. Weird

Exodus sadly has a lot of these weird quirky issues that result in constant crashing (even on consoles). If you can wait then the upgraded version of the game is gonna be out in like 2 weeks.
