"metro" style for win7 (VS2012 installer)

Hey guys,

I recently installed VS2012 RC and noticed the installer is a borderless, pretty slick looking, metro style affair. In fact the whole application seems to run in this kind of environment.

Does anyone know where I can read up on this style of window/development, or if it's even possible in a .net environment in win7?

It'll be WPF I expect - Github for Windows has a very similar chromeless border and I think I remember Phil Haack taking about using WPF to do it.
