Well here it is metroid 3 date is offical !

Its a date yes but what region is that for, the way nintendo and sony do releases theres usually a few months between us\japan then some more between us\europe.
 
BW:II is definatly online, the only reason i can think for delaying a finished metroid until now is for the addition of online so lets hope so
 
Must be for the US of the A, as Mario Strikers is out here on Friday... wonder when they'll let us know about Metroid in Europe? I'm currently playing Metroid 1 at the moment, so hope it's not gonna be too long to wait. If only Ninty had followed Sony's lead and made games region free from the beginning *sigh*
 
but even a date for USA is btter than no date cause atleast we know its on the way :D :D :D
 
I'm personally not all that fussed over MP multiplayer. The games are brilliant single-player experiences first and foremost, and realistically, the multiplayer probably won't hold a candle to games more dedicated towards that side of things (Halo, Quake, etc). Any multiplayer will be a nice addition, but it certainly won't be a selling point of the game for me, and I won't miss it if it's not there.

EDIT: That's not to say I'm against any other multiplayer game. It's one of the main selling points of Mario Strikers to me, and I'll probably get BW2 for it, too. Just multiplayer FPS games are fairly common, and Metroid is more exploration/adventure than pure combat.

Mario Strikers Charged Football will be released in EU this month on 25th May instead of July: http://uk.wii.com/software/14/
 
Yes that fantastically atmospheric nature, beautiful art style, genuine sense of adventure and exploration, and clever mix of puzzles and boss battles sure is a drag huh.

Yes it is, at least the way Metroid does it.
 
Why come in to a thread title METROID 3 just to say that you don't like it?
Your just bating for a discussion. No one cares if you like it or not. The thread is a discussion about release dates etc.


Looking good for a UK release before October then. I really think we might see the 3 big hitters before Christmas! Should be good. Maybe i will get that Wii after the summer then.

not a case of if its good for me its a case of how good its gonna be, from what ive seen it looked awesome but that was ages ago, im so wanna know what they have done to it
