Is there anything that stands out to you about this? All I can think of is making sure that it has a service history, a friend has mentioned the head gaskets too.

Seems like a fairly good price (would be my first car, I haven't passed yet but nevermind that).

MG ZR 1.4 105. 2002 REG.

I've sent the guy who posted the add a text message asking about the service history, i'll try find out if the HG has been replaced yet.

If it hasn't and it does go, what sort of money are we talking? £500?

I'm going to run a few quotes now, it wont be cheap though because of my age and lack of driving experience.

Depending how it is, I might go have a visit.

The guy has its service history, i've got a friend who's a mechanic so I may be able to persuade him to come along..

Girlfriends ma doesn't drive, my ma doesn't drive and my dad has speeding convictions so that's probably not going to help much.

I added my brothers girlfriend, she's only had a licence one year but it got my quote down to £1,652.70 from Churchhill!

Full comp, can't argue with that too much really...

Cheers mate, I doubt i'll get a better quote than that to be honest!

Just tired Pru.... "Your car insurance quote £2,360.40"

What makes me laugh is that the application form is identical to Churchhill, so they are likely just a reseller, or one of them is...

Churchhill and a couple of others couldn't quote me on the MG ZR.
