MGS Database (PS3 PSN feature)

The Metal Gear Solid Database is available on the US store for free download now. It's basically a wikipedia of the entire Metal Gear Solid series, from start to finish, written by one of the development and story team. It has the added bonus of having the MGS4-sensitive information completely locked, only to be available once your PS3 detects a game-completed save file for the game.

The only problem is, it doesn't work right now. I have a game-complete file, several in fact, but the Database fails to detect this. Anyone else having the same problem? Significant portions of the database is locked or blanked out because of the apparent lack of save files indicating that I've actually completeled MGS4 already.
 
i haven't tried it myself but theres people saying in the spoilers thread that its region locked (both usa and jap versions)

European mgs4 save by any chance?
 
Runs fine, but like said above if you want to unlock the MGS4 data then either download a US game save or play the game through again on your US account.

It's an excellent app btw, very informative and wraps everything in with real world history making it end seeming very real until you remember it's about a game.

Hope so. That link you gave me to NeoGAF was good though and got me back on track before MGS4, but I'd like to see this one.
For a datafile though there is absolutely no reason why it couldn't have been put on all regions at the same time.

The Japanese one even have a few European languages added in the mix. :/
