I will i have the special ed of MGS2 which was the same as regular MGS2 and cost 50 quid! I have snake eater from release with a silly cover and MGS3 subsistance from here and the US :D
So i think i will get it.
My only problem with the documentaries of MGS are Kojima can't speak English which is a PITA.
I want the MGS4 PS3 though :(
I'd sell my PS3 to get that puppy.

Just found out it is exclusive to a Jersey based etailer.

Sucks :( I wanted it on release day not a week later.

Yeah, I do like the pictures of the console, wanna see what it looks like in the flesh.

£80 isn't really that much for something that entertains you, you're looking at £40 for a game and £40 for good extras. Say the CD is £10, the Blu-Ray is £18 then you're getting the figurine for £12 which all seem logical prices anyway...

I've spent £80 on crap nights out, so I don't see it as too much for a AAA Limited Edition game.

Got my order in last week :D Also ordered normal edition just so i get it on release :o

I couldn't do that, she'd kill me.
After getting both on GTA IV, i kinda had the excuse of 'Its for two consoles though' i could never get away with the same one on the same console.

Mrs would kill me also but what she doesn't know won't hurt her ;) plus as soon as i get the LE i'd sell the normal one and should only make a small loss.

There haven't been any photos of the actual box, figure, or any of the DVDs and even the game - which is very concerning, considering the price. But it's the last of the series (until some metrosexual guy comes in for part 5), so I'm gonna have to get this limited edition version

Btw, preorder the standard version and you get the Metal Gear Sage Vol 2, too (is this a DVD, book or what?).

I think thats just the US version as it was used to distribute the beta keys, I've not seen any mention of it over here - and it was a blu-ray movie I think.

I'm half tempted to get the limited edition but I really dont want to preorder from that retailer as their so very slow with deliverys in comparison to all the other game retailers. I'm also a bit disapointed that they have this exclusively as I'm sure we'd see a slightly better price if there was some competition involved.

Think I'll stick with the standard edition then pick this up cheap when their selling it off in a few months like what seems to happen with all other special editions.

I've ordered normal, not changing it now.

I actually was thinking of holding off on buying this as I have failed dismally to finish either 2 or 3 but MGO sold me on a pre-order.

Although I'm a big fan and want it on release day I think it sounds like a bit much, and I paid for the halo 3 legendary edition :P. (Mind you that did have a bit more in it)(Yes I realise I've probably incurred hatred by mentioning gaylo)

I don't like paying for special editions as I rarely think they are worth it but it is MGS and it's the last one Kojima will make... :(

An action figure... sigh

Don't really want to pay £40 for making of DVD and Blu-Ray, if it wasn't from that retailer I would reconsider as I want it when it comes out.

Has anyone noticed you can buy 12" action figures of Snake and Raiden for £100+ each

there's a series of 7" 20th anniversary figures that are about 12-14 quid each that look pretty good, if the figure in the LE was of similar quality it might make it worth it along with the dvd and cd.
