Let us know how its going for you.

Struggling with the update at the moment, keep getting network errors :mad:

Downloading at 24kb/s and uploading at 80.....not impressed

don't think the beta's going to start till the 21st. A few failed logins came up with the message that the beta is going to start on April 21st. So you may be disappointed at the end of the update.
 
I am confused. I thought today you download a client from the Playstation Store. i.e. just like any other normal download. people are talking about network errors and http like this is some PC client they are downloading.

It's a beta! It's supposed to be buggy and unfinished. If it is still there when the game is released, then moan.

I need to stop going to my parents for dinner on a thursday night lol I'll need to kick this off when i get home from work.

Didn't they originally say the beta would be available to download on the 17th but not available to play until the 21st? This was to give everyone time to download it before it started.

Constant network error messages now on P2P you dont have much choice you have to restart as it tells you to but when you do error again.

Downloaded the beta, installed it fine, booted up game, says update available.

Accept terms and conditions (if you dont get a network error, if you do you have to quit and restart the game)

Get past the terms and conditions select your method to download the update.

Peer to Peer
HTTP

HTTP is dog slow and fails really quickly.
Peer to Peer i got around 100kbs average up till around 17% completed on the update. Then it fails. (then you must qiuit the game, restart the game, update the game)

Relieved that it resumes though.

Ah, there that makes sense now. Cheers. i will try mine later but we have till Monday to get the update I guess. It's the usual case of people hammering the servers and backend not being up to the job.

Replace MGO with GT5:P demo/GT5:P updates/dashboard updates/Halo beta and it all seems normal :)

Today, Everyone and their mothers will be downloading it. Ofcourse it's gonna be dead in the water. And yeah, I know they should be able to cater for it. It's unfortunate.

I'd wait a day or 2, until the initial buzz goes away
