I did my konami id weds night and had no problems, left my PS3 on last night and the patch was fully downloaded. The konami site is getting hammered big time now so i heard, anyway once you get your ID you cant do anything anyway lol. It just gives an error once you login to the game as the servers are not up and running as yet. The online manual is also erm not online yet, i guess this is to give everyone a fair crack maybe. So no need to rush about getting your game ID as you cant do anything with it yet. One more thing your game ID doesnt show up in the game, you name your character and thats the one people will see when you play. This is due to in the full MGO you can have several different characters with different skills, perks and roles in the game ie more stealthy, better cqc, more of a sniper etc, so yo may want to give them different names.

When will it be open does anyone know cause siged up to konami on uk english created password and username .what i cannot understand is the way i have read it all is that wont be open till monday or is that just without an account setup

konami are updating the site between 8-9 gmt tonight not sure when we will beable to gain acces to server hopefully b4 monday or is that when all of europe get it

Streeteh have you got a mic yet also tried to sing in with the correct info signed up on uk one .presumming metal gear online doesnt go live till later or maybe monday .if anyone has any luck signing in happy gaming
All fully updated and installed, with GameID sorted and saved on the login page.
Just a matter of waiting for the beta to actually start now.
How the hell did you get an ID?
There was a thread on here with link to the konami id registration page. Quite a few lucky guys here managed to make a working game ID without facing errors or service shutdowns.
