MGS4 online beta thread

i found it easier to access the konami login screen after i downloaded the update to 1.1 in game then went to sign upthrough ps3 could sign in a lot easier than on my pc with ie7 .having problems with certificate so they are updating the site tonight 9pm .Also i signed up wendsday so no problem getting game id and password:)
 
Can I create an ID via the game or do I have to do it online?

Also, whats fastest to get update. - p2p or ..the other one. I done 5% in about 30 mins.
Downloading at 31kbs.
 
Pulling this in at 200kb/s over the bittorrent method at the moment... its absolutely whoring my upload though even with limiting on!

Have those who are finding it really slow through p2p got the port forwarded?
 
damn p2p and uk user with there ps3's behind nat's, I might be on a tad late though
I'm downloading at 4 k a sec haha

this will take time gonna try tomorrow...

Downloading the patch at the moment via p2p but the upload rate is killing me. If I cancel it does the download progress save or will I have to start over?
 
I've only just bought my ps3 - And i LOVE the MGS series, but oh my god with the Konami ID thing - what a joke, it took me like 3/4hours to get one !

Just make a gmail account, its getting seriously hammered i expect, possibly a lot of US users without beta keys are trying to get into the PAL beta. Dont forget the servers come on line midnight CEST time Monday, thats 11pm Sunday for us in the UK.

Yeah I had the same thing, was getting a constant 200kb/s plus on the download but it was hammering my upload too.

can't even get that far now, saying it's being deleted for inactivity when I sit there while it loads each page :mad: Guess I can forget about playing this then, ***** sake.

Whoever wrote the server side for this needs shooting, the one time it accepted my details it rejected my Konami ID despite it following the rules that were stated on the form.
 
GOt it last night at 1am in about 10 mins, RAPID !

Now gotta try the other bits of fun, whatever this ID thing is.
