Its weird, the website works fine for me, no slower than any other site - bit of a bummer Knives.....tried on someone else's connection?

Just a suggestion, try changing your DNS servers to the ones over at openDNS. Just see if it works. Not saying it will, But it could

Anyone tried this recently? Got a message saying due to high amounts of traffic they had to suspend the beta. but the dates are confusing me, when is it going to start??!

they couldnt have made this any less enjoyable

im not trying out betas anymore - its not worth the let downs

i will try and give it a go towards sunday - anything after that is gta4 im afraid

All you can do at present is make sure you have the patch and Gamer ID. According to the MGO site normal service (lol) should resume at midnight Friday, ie Saturday morning. Not really much point in trying till then TBH

Lol guess what ? Patch for 1.02 is up on MGO beta doesnt seem to be very big though.

Only took 10 mins thats was better.

The 1.02 patch is painless to download, plus the notes say that it changes the way the beta client connects to the network. Konami means business this time around I think. Here's to hoping for a relatively smooth experience.

The beta starts tonight at 2300. It will definitely make waiting for GTA4 far easier.

Ditto, since I failed to get mine this morning even tho Electrical department told me yesterday on phone to pick it up this morning !

Really ?, how do you know this ?, perhaps MGS4 will be different, dam journalists, they can never judge frames per second right, they always say it's 60.

EDIT - ahhh man, now it says I need another update ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!.
