Hi, im onto the second act, playing it when ever i get a spare minute from working. I seem to have taken every path possible, but it just seems to always lead to a dead end. Ive gone round in cirlces and am now standing in the river.

I should have payed more attention to the footprints but i didnt and am now totally confused.

Where am i meant to go eaxctly? I got to a little look out point just further down the river from the bridge with a guard, and could see stuff further down the river, am i supposed to get there? if so how?! its driving me insane!

Any help would be great!

you go over the river and head left IRC. By that point arent you meant to be loking for the 'heavy' foot prints due to her being carried ? Your using the night vision thing yer ?
 
You do need to cross the river yes, and take a left. Her footprints will be gone for a while, but if you use your night vision and look closely at the foot prints, you can see the shape of her heels in the dirt a little bit further up.

Careful with the NV though because when you switch it on/off. Nearby guards will be alerted. Not sure if that matters to you or not.

IIRC you have to cross the river and then follow the footprints again. You eventually start hearing a helicopter hovering, but to get to it you have to enter this little passageway which I missed the first time and ended up in the same situation as you. It's kind of secluded in this kinda U-shaped rock formation (I think), you just walk down the passageway and that part of the mission ends.

Then things get fun :) But I won't spoil it.

ive gone left, and ive come to like a peice of concrete in the ground with hand prints in it. are for some reason there are ginuea pigs running about? think i may have spotted it on the map....

oh my days, i went round the other side and then came back round, but not far enough to see it last time, an hour wasted!

Lol. Thats all the hand prints from the team who worked on MGS4.. a little easter egg.

Go back, and make a U turn to the left. Your getting close. Make a U turn to the left and run straight for a bit. It'll be a hidden pathway on the right. I think...

edit: oh before you do, you can lay on that concrete bit and get Hand Camo.
