MGS4 & Young Snake

So at the end of one of the MGS4 trailers we have a brief scene that appears to be Snake, only much younger.

I've got a few theories on this.

1) He's a new clone
2) He's the offspring of Snake & Meryl
3) It's a flashback of when Snake is younger

I'm leaning towards 2 as he looks disimilar to the Snake we've seen in the other games. Especially taking MGS2 & 3 into account, where the graphics are descent enough for us to know what Snake should look like.

Thoughts?

He's already been cured of Fox Die iirc. He's got accelerated aging owing to the age of Big Boss' genes when he was cloned.

Dan, you should play and complete Number 2 - Awesome game and where it's short you could do it in 2 evenings or 1 if you really pushed it.

I did have it (Substance?) but i forgot most of 1 now, and the controls on the 2nd annoyed the hell out of me so didnt even get off the first level

I never played the first but got the 2nd, the controls were alright I thought, even though I've always hated the sony controller, makes my hands ache

No no no no the 3rd one is the best.

Isn't Solid Snake suffering from some rapid aging problem due to the cloning that created him?
It could be that this is another clone of Boss, but one who isn't suffering from the aging problem?

MGS1 was the best of the series, good story and there was nothing like it, then the clones followed after. I remember my mate got it and didn't know anything about it and i swapped him like 10 games for it :eek:

I think i completed 1 & 2 about 10 times each, and they must be good games for me too play threw them more than once!

I wish they'd re-release them on the 360

I'd love to do mgs1 again

If you want a pretty MGS1, you can get TTS for the gamecube/Wii that is quite a good version cos they added some of the moves from MGS2 into it too.
